The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court.
Roe v. Wade, 410 U.S. 113, was a landmark decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in which the Court ruled that the Constitution of the United States protects a pregnant woman's liberty to choose to have an abortion without excessive government restriction.
Les Coeurs Sauvages and our founder stand firmly and unapologetically against this Supreme Court ruling. We support a woman's right to choose, and we believe that restricting access to abortions and overturning Roe v. Wade is an attack on marginalized women and communities, who it disproportionately affects.
